The First Tee Parents Guide

We would like to welcome you and your child to The First Tee Life Skills Experience curriculum.

The First Tee of Ireland is a youth development organisation dedicated to positively impacting the lives of our young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Research suggests that children are more apt to become involved in activities when they receive parental support. We welcome and encourage you to be active in your child's experience with The First Tee of Ireland. Your discussion and reinforcement of the life skills being learned at each level as well as the interest you show in your child's golf skills will help to make her or his participation in the program more meaningful.

Our programs consist of group activities held in specified public and semi-public areas such as driving ranges, pitch & putt courses, golf courses, schools, and sports halls and are taught by our caring PGA Golf Professionals. All our activities are open to observation by parents are delivered in a fun-learning environment. Our programs are scheduled in advance and at times & locations that are convenient to the participants, their parents and their school.
