The First Tee of Ireland

Why is The First Tee different?

The Life Skills Experienceis what separates The First Tee of Ireland from all other Junior Golf Programs.  The Life Skills Experience focuses on the development of the individual and character education as opposed to their proficiency for the game of golf. Participants are taught to understand the meaning and application of The Nine Core Values™ in their daily lives with instruction delivered in a seamless manner using the game of golf as the platform for each and every lesson.

The program is particularly suited to those who ordinarily may not have access to the game of golf and its positive values.  Children benefit most by remaining in the program for a minimum of two years so they can experience the meaning and transfer of The Nine Core Values into their daily lives.

The Ciriculum is developed by experts on Youth Developement and delivered by trained coaches through The First Tee Coach Program.
